Held annually, the International Federation of Forwarders Associations’ FIATA World Congress (FWC) provides an international platform for logistics industry leaders from across the globe to gain insights to industry challenges and put forward sustainable solutions.
Scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, October 4 – 8, 2017 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, the FIATA World Congress is the event of the year for the international freight forwarding community and for anyone involved in global logistics.
Some details on the 56th FWC 2017:
In 2015, the FWC was held in Taipei, Taiwan, September 8-13, 2015 with the theme: “From Here and Now, Think Global” with 1,000 participants who attended from over 120 countries.
The FWC was last held in Dublin, Ireland from October 3-8, 2016 with the theme "Ireland: Where Networking Comes Naturally".
FWC 2017, with the theme “Logistics Bridging Global Trade”, will be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, this October 4-8 to welcome an expected 1,200 participants from freight forwarders (air, sea and land), port and airport authorities and operators, government agencies to freight associations and related industries.
